Eileen K. Murray

Ms. Murray was elected as the Chairperson of FINRA in August 2020, after leaving Bridgewater Associates, where she served as the Co-Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Murray has over two decades of Wall Street experience, having held senior leadership roles at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse as a member of both firm’s Management Committee and Executive Committee. Ms. Murray was also appointed the first female member of Credit Suisse’s Executive Board. Prior to joining Bridgewater in 2009, she had most recently served as President and Management Committee member of Duff Capital Advisors.

Ms. Murray received her BS in Accounting from Manhattan College. She served FINRA’s Board of Governors since 2016, before getting elected as its Chairperson in 2020. She also serves an Independent Board Member at Urban Compass, Inc., and is a Member of the Board of Directors of HSBC, Guardian Life Insurance Company, and the Irish Arts Center.
